Bush Poetry Suitable For Women

One of the biggest comments heard around the traps on various occasions is about the lack of poetry suitable for women to recite. Well there is actually a fair bit of it, but often you have to know where to look.

We are relying on many poets to contribute this information, so if you know of any poems that fit this category, then please contact us. Name of author and title of the poem is a must, but where it is contemporary, then contact details of the author are also important so that people intending to perform the poem can do the courteous thing and seek permission.

On this page we intend to present a list of bush poetry, both traditional and contemporary, that is suitable for lady poets to recite. We will also try and break this list down into serious and humorous.

I have set this all up as a topic on the Forum at this address. Please go there to post your suggestions. This will keep them all in the one place and I can transfer the information to this page when I upgrade the site. You will also be getting well deserved credit for your contribution.
