I’ll make it rain, just watch me now.
I’ll make it rain. I’ll tell you how.
To start I’ll wash the kitchen floor
and polish it right to the door.

I’ll make it rain it never fails.
I’ll slip the curtains from the rails
and wash them, each and every one
then hang them out. It’s never fun.

I’ll make it rain. I’ll take a broom
dust outside windows of each room.
I’ll clear each cobweb from their sills.
remove the debris, clear the grills.

I’ll make it rain and it’s not hard.
I’ll plan a party in the yard
with thirty kids from 10 ‘til 2.
I’ll book a clown and barbeque.

I’ll make it rain. I’ll wash the car
and make it shine just like a star.
With wat’ring can, bucket and mop
then chamois it. Dry off each drop.

I’ll organize throughout the land
an army to give me a hand.
We’ll synchronize all folks about
to work as one to break this drought.

Then not only will we have water
but things will sparkle as they oughter.
I’ll make it rain then hear the proof
of downpours drumming on my roof.
