                     “For Nichole…”

My beautiful one, how shall I remember all your ways,
the many treasured moments, fond memories to recall.
May I hear your childhood laughter all my living days,
feel its presence ease my sadness should my spirits fall.

May girlish chatter, the teenage voice, never leave me,
my collection of loved visions, remain ever there to see…
A babe who grew to womanhood, a mother and a wife,
your face, a voice that chided me, be with me all my life…

Yesterday I lost someone most treasured in my life, my
beautiful second daughter, Nichole…

Mates, I may be absent a while...

May the Lord grant you comfort Bernie.

I know you say you are not a 'believer' but in times like these it can be some small comfort to think that our loved one is in a better place.  (I will be saying a few for her and also for you)

Mate, I can't imagine what you are going through. As you have probably worked out, I also am a believer. My prayers are for you, Bernie. Our inscrutable God is also a God of all comfort.

Hi my old Mate I think the greatest pain a person can feel is when a child passes on before the parents. Edith and I will pray that God gives you and the rest of your family strength to bear this heavy burden.  James

Bernie
Please know that my thoughts and sympathy are with you and your family - I cannot even begin to imagine the pain you must be feeling - but Nichole will always live on in your heart and in your memories.

Take care
Irene

Bernie,
Having been out of the mix for a bit, I've just physically felt the stab at finally logging on, to learn of your loss. Truly heartfelt mate.

When loved ones gone before us, leave us long and lonely days,
the tears just keep on falling and our shredded heart’s ablaze.
When no-one else can feel our pain, we want to fall apart …
we want to have them back again – the angel in our heart.

There’s angels in our memories, in photos on the walls,
reminders of those happy times of laughter down the halls.
The things you’d do to bring them back, to ease your heartache pain …
to hug them, hear them singing or to hold their hand again …

You’ll always miss your daughter but her memory won’t fade
There’s angels in the sunshine - don’t sit lonely in the shade.
Embrace the love that’s offered from the folk around who care.
Draw strength from those who offer it - they must have strength to spare.

Remember precious loved ones - keep your angel warm and snug,
but think of all the friends you have, there’s comfort in each hug.
Let friendship all around you lift your spirits up and then …
your heart will stop its aching and you’ll find your smiles again.

Words can never be enough for you right now Bernie, but our hearts are full of love and caring for you in your time of loss.

Hoping you are back with us soon, knowing that those of us who stand in faith hold you in our prayers.
