Yes, Glenny has been made a moderator of the Forum. Personally, I am so busy at the moment with a number of other site that it is sometimes hard to keep an eye on what is happening here on a moment by moment basis. Consequently, I thought the best thing to do was to share the load a little.
And who else but to keep you lot of recalcitrants in line a little except our dear Mother Hen? Glenny has been an inspiration to the Forum for a long time. She is articulate in her comments, subtle yet meaningful in her castigations and apart from that, she's right on the ball. Consequently her elevation to Moderator status.
What's this mean? Well, she can edit your posts or even delete them. Moreso, she has the power to pull ANYONE into line where she feels it necessary.
Although many of you may not realise, there are over 4,500 visitors to this site a month. Obviously they don't all join the Forum or post, but you who do are the elite, those who put their names and their work into the public arena. That is why moderation of the Forum is important. We need to keep the standard high so that Australian Bush Poetry, Verse and Music is presented to the world at the highest levels.
