G'day all,

Just got back from a conference in Sydney to find that the site had exceeded it's bandwidth and was temporarily shut down.  This was caused by unprecedented traffic to the site which is great.  Shows the value of getting your poetry online because people are reading it.

Thanks Irene for you email, but I'll send you a personal one too.  Irene let me know the site was down....now I have to find out why the hosting company didn't!

Cheers,

AND SO SAY ALL OF US.

G'day Ric, There has been a good deal of traffic on the site and, like the other regulars, I was panicking that you had terminated us.

Hope you had a most successful conference. Thanks for supporting Australian Poetry.

G'Day Ric,

Ditto to Zondrae's post, and I was just about to delete it from my bookmark list, and gave it one more try, just for interest, and...there it was!!!

Thanks for your continuing efforts. By the way, all the avatars have gone, is this to save space? or a host's economy move?

Cheers

Hip hip hooray!!!  I, like everyone above, thought the site had ceased to be, after all there was talk about it being sold, etc, so yes, I did the horrible deed and deleted it from my favourites list.  It wasn't until I was looking for something else that I stumbled upon it again, alive and well!  Surprise, surprise.  I've missed an awful lot of stuff and will be reading for a long time to catch up.  Good on ya' Ric, I'm happy the site is still kicking ...

Thanks,

Kym.
