Yes Frances,
All members of The  Australian Bush Poets Assn, which will include quite a few of this sites members, will have received their bi-monthly newsletter with dates for this and other competitions. It's too far for me to travel to, considering that we went to Camerons Pocket for the Wintermoon Festival this year. Maybe we should have a go at the written section. But then again, there are so many talented writers that my scribble doesn't stand much of a chance.

Mal,
I would not take offence. My Mum taught my sister and I that someone has to come last and we were saving another person grief by accepting it. (This was in relation to 'running' races but applies everywhere)
