2008 VICTORIAN OPEN BUSH POETRY CHAMPIONSHIPS
BENALLA 10-12 OCTOBER 2008

Approximately $3000 of prize money on offer – open to all bush poets to compete (not just Victorians)

Written competition closes 10/9/2008 – get your entries in fast, this is just one more week away! You can enter up to a maximum of four poems ($5 entry per poem). Also junior written section.

Performance competition closes 26/9/2008. Men’s and women’s performances of Original, Contemporary and Traditional poems, all levels catered for from novice through to intermediate to open ($5 entry per section). Also junior section ($5 entry)

Music performance competition (for members of a bush poetry club) closes 26/9/2008. Original and other song sections ($5 entry per section).

Concerts Friday and Saturday nights, poets breakfasts Saturday and Sunday mornings.
