Ipswich Poetry Fest

There is an article in our local free paper this week about the Ipswich Poetry Fest.  Apparently there was a total of 1385 entries.  I don't know how many of those were in the Bush Poetry Section but obviously there would have been quite a few.  So .. well done Zondrae to pick up a highly commended.

First prize in the Bush Poetry Section went to David Campbell for his poem "Photograph".  It's a great poem, a well deserved win.

It is a rare thing, a rainbow at night, but they do occur. The Moisture content of the atmosphere has to be perfect and the moon has to be at just the right angle to the observer. It is not quite as clear and bright as a normal rainbow, but you can make out the different colours of the spectrum.
