G'day Andre,
Welcome to the site. I believe this poem was not written by an australian. I also think I have read that it is displayed at the Winton Hall of Fame. If Frank Daniel is up and about yet, I'm sure he'll fill you in. Come to think of it, I may try myself as I think I have a copy of it somewhere.
