Two arms
Two hands
Two dozen cans
Beneath the Southern Cross I stand
A proud native of this fair land
Australia you bloody beauty.

I first heard the above over 30 years ago.  Can anyone fill me in?  There has to be more and does anyone know the origin. (almost like the aussie cricket teams not so secret song)

G'day Rob

This is pretty much the version that I can remember learning back in my days at university in Sydney. A couple of sources credit Rod Marsh as the author, and I believe that it is also still the current team song for the Australian cricket team.

Australia, Australia
Land of the waratah and ... dahlia
If ya land in gaol I’ll bail ya
Australia
Two arms, two hands
Two steely bands
Beneath the Southern Cross I stand
A sprig of wattle in my hand
A product of my native land
A voice within me cries aloud
Australia
You bloody* beauty
So up the old red rooster
And more piss!

* have also seen with little/f****n in place of bloody

Regards
