“Trick...or Treat”.

Ever the penchant for perversity,
on wearied compressed bedding,
Cold satin…soiled and stained…
Bared bodies…barred windows,
and motions, of faked sensation…
Trick upon trick…Joe, after Joe,
the world revolves around money…

Satisfaction’s ill begotten quiver…
too seldom invades…or pleasures.
Just, another day…another lay.
Best, plump those sweaty pillows,
and some day…turn the mattress.
No Fairy Godmother, Cinderella,
truth is…it is, all about the money…

Hi, Bernard!
Your poem is very stern ... and very truth.
It makes think - and think not on words but on sense behind words.
Thanks.

g'day,

and we can understand why so many 'ladies of the night' turn to drugs.

Is it drugs to enable the prostitution or prostitution to enable the durgs?

G'day Zondrae,
Know to what you refer and
hold an unvarying opinion, the law without
an exception should come down harshly on
anybody manufacturing, dealing, 'pushing',
consuming or in any way involved, with all
illegal or illicit drugs...no more, looking the
other way, excusing or handing out token
"slaps on the wrist".
                    However, I would believe a
local apothecary did not figure too vastly
in origins of the world's oldest profession...

                   Cheers, good "Lady of Words",
                               Bernie...
