Forum Registrations Require Approval

It would seem there have been a lot of people registering on this Forum of late who have nothing to do with bush poetry and only wish to spam the boards.

As such, all registrations will now have to be approved by the Admin before they will be activated.  Sorry for the inconvenience, but it seems the only way to keep the Forum available for its intended purpose and get rid of the spammers.

Hi Ric,

I think that's a great idea to approve new members.  I have been deleting quite a few inappropriate posts lately, so it will be good not to have them any more.  Approving new members will cause you more work, but it will keep the site "clean".  On behalf of all the members Ric, THANK YOU.  This site is very important to many people and we really appreciate you keeping it going for us .

Many thanks for allowing this site to continue Ric, and for the work which you put into it to ensure that we have the opportunity to indulge our love of bush poetry. It has been, and continues to be so important in promoting and raising the profile of bush poetry in Australia, and your efforts towards this are very much appreciated by all of us who post here, and by those who read those postings.
