ABPA site has been down for nearly a week.
I'm suffering some withdrawals. Guess I should be using the time to write some poems but haven't. I've been gardening and helping detail the van. Well he has had it for quite a while. Deciding if we need the bubble top model. We may (only thinking about it at this stage)  drive north in the cold months next year. I'll be away a bit longer than two weeks if we do. We have a house sitter lined up. I did clean out the bedroom in the granny flat today. Just in case we have a visit from our son.
And there we have a peep into the exciting life of a retiree!

Hi Zondrae,
Sounds like we're heading down similar paths, Val & I are in the process of purchasing another Caravan to do a bit of the grey nomad thing ourselves
It was our wedding anniversary last Tuesday and Val's birthday to-morrow, so its all been happening of late. Like you I haven't been doing much writing but have been putting the finishing touches to a poem that I hope might work out ok.

Cheers Terry

The exciting life of a retiree.  Grin  Yep, know exactly what you mean.  The funny thing is that although you have all this time nothing ever seems to get done.  Well at least not for me.  I tend to think oh well that can wait until tomorrow, I have plenty of time. Then something pops up tomorrow and I'm rushing around like a mad thing trying to finish up whatever it was I should have done yesterday.

Your travel plans sound exciting. I hope you make it this far north next winter. I would love to catch up with you if you have the time.

Oh and Terry, congrats on the wedding anniversary and a big ..... HAPPY BIRTHDAY... for Val.

New AABPA site is up and running..

However. it is as I said a NEW site and there is not much to see as yet. Things will improve quickly I'm sure. I have posted the poem that placed second in the Toolangi festival.

Hi Zondrae,
I just tried to visit the ABPA sit but there was still nothing there - must have taken it down again.

Hi Terry, it's a whole new forum so the link you were probably using won't work anymore.  It's definitely still up.  Try googling abpa that should take you to the main page and then there is a link on there for the forum.

See you there.
