Hi Babe,

Sorry to hear about your bingle. Glad you are ok.  Peely did a great performance at the National. I spent a little time with him during the day. But there is so much going on there that you don't get much actual chat time. The Poets B'fast and the Yarn Spinning contest take a lot of the day. There were 46 poets put their name down for Sunday. They managed to get through 30 (by insisting on very short preambles). The rest had to wait and take first turn on Monday.

I'm going to start now and try to convince my boyfriend/driver/husband/roadie that I NEED to go to Corryong next year. That's the easy part.

I've only just caught up with this news.
So glad that you are still with us, Babe, and virtually unscathed too!

We never know what little surprises life has for us around the next corner.

Cheers

Tom.

Thankyou everyone for the lovely thoughts.

I was in a state of numb for a few days, then started to think about how lucky we'd been. Fell in a heap for a bit after that, but have shaken myself off and got back to the business of living with the here and now, and not the what if's.

MFSR 2008 is set in my sights and while I don't have a spare bed, I have plenty of tent space at my place for anyone that wants to camp for free.
