That's wonderful news! I'll be on the lookout for you both.

And everyone else from here that pops into my neck of the woods.

G'day Babe,

Hoping to be there.  Will depend on two things.  First of all the event falling within the school holidays as Jude works at the local school, but more importantly that we have our off road trailer by then.  Getting a bit long in the tooth for this "swagging" stuff these days.  Time for a bit of comfort.

Hi Babe
How did the festival go?
Would love to get over there to it one day, but will have to be after retirement (whenever that will be!!!  Cry Grin )

I read a book recently about the brumbies in the snowy mountains, and thought how much I would like to ride through the area.
By the time I get there, will probably be too old to ride anywhere!!!

Hi Irene

Well, I was at the re-enactment and the Family Concert on the Friday.

Unfortunately, I lost control of my vehicle on the way home and ended up backwards, sideways and up a bank with two flats. While we all walked away without a scratch, the car was damaged and requires surgery. It meant we were a bit shaken up for Saturday Competition and opted for a quiet day working in the garden. Disappointed, but thankful to be safe.

I did make it to the judging on Sunday to let folks know we were okay, and had a quick hi with Peely as I was leaving. Sorry Peely, I would have liked to chat longer, but I was pretty done in by that point.

Geez Babe - I'm glad to hear you're OK!  My daughter has just come back from a Health Careers camp (to try to get rural kids interested in medical careers), and she got to do fun stuff like make broken arms casts, and "operate"  on pig trotters and stitch them up again ... so if you have any epidermal or sub-cutaneous damage or broken bones, just give her a call ... 555pigdoc ... she'd love a bit of "live" practice!  I don't even know what epidermal or sub-cutaneous is (something to do with skin?) but she's been saying a lot of big words since she came back.   It's finally happened, I'm the stupid one in the house.  Three daughters have caught up, passed me and left me in their dust!

Anyway, it's a pity you missed out on the MFSR, I imagine it would have been your "funnest" thing all year (being so close and all)?

See ya',

Kym.

G'day Babe

Not to worry, I will be back again next year, so hopefully we will be able to have more of a chat then. The most important thing is that you and your family are all OK.

Regards

Kym, I'l place my trusting little trotters in her capable hands. Perhaps a little liposuction to remove the Easter Chocky Deposit....

Peely, I'll catch you next time! Between us, we'll talk Greg into a singalong by the billabong in Corryong...
