Anyone help with this poem?

A couple of years ago I was listening to ABC radio and heard the tail end of a poem about a cattle dog's owner accidentally taking the dog's pills.  The result had my whole family in hysterics.  I seem to recall the bloke who wrote it being from Goulbourn perhaps?

Can anyone help me identify this wonderful Aussie poem?

Hi There,

I go to a couple of Folk Music festivals that have Poets Breakfasts. I know David Myers does a poem along these lines but I can't recall what it is called. One of the lines I love refers to a 'corker snorker'. Which is the sausage that the wife hides the pills in and he husband inadvertently eats. Not sure if it is one of Davids originals or by Blue The Shearer. If no one else knows, I can find out at The National at Easter.

I just read the poem you were referring to, and I'm not sure if that's the one I recall or not.  I still enjoyed it though.

The poem Zondrae is referring to is 'Down Boy' written by Col 'Blue the Shearer' Wilson.
