My brain runs to nonsense at times.

Hamlet

He sat there in a quandary and no pen in ink was dipped,
But rather with a pencil would he illustrate the script
Of Shakespeare's great immortal play. Which hero would be drawn?
A victor so magnificent, or character forlorn?
But even greater yet he strove, and still he could not see;
Which pencil would he chose to use, 2B or not 2B?

Cheers
Tom

and...

Not nonsense that you write my friend
and others doubts I'll quell.
The artists name was Yorik
and, alas, I knew him well.

So at alas it comes to pass
I am not from this breed
You may think this crass
But I won't pay no heed

Forsooth we do perceive that thou art of a different breed
And with great care we do abstain from naming any names.
And dost thy verse in truth reflect thine own poetic need?
It's really good to get a comment from me old mate James.

Cheers

Tom.

On a sultry night when stars were bright
I had a midsummer night's dream
when the Bard of Avon's brains took flight
and painted a grisly scene

I saw a ghost with skull at rest
beneath an encircling arm
I said " Do what you will, dark ghost
should you intend me harm".

The Spectre said " I shall return
to you on the twelvth night,
for I should be at King Lear's abode
so now I must take flight".

" There is an auction to be held
to misss it would cause pitys,
Dolly  Parton's as you like it sale
celebrating The Sale of Two ...ittys".
