Not sure if this is the correct section to post this in, but here goes.

For a humble old bushman that recently lost the love of his life...
'Hang in' there Cobber.

YOUR HORSE AND A FAITHFUL HOUND.

Times weren’t good, and things weren’t bad,
with always the dream to succeed;
completely happy with what we had,
and want never overcame need...

Life together for sixty eight years,
has sadly passed on by;
memories mingle among the tears;
may your free spirit fly.

Times weren’t good, yet things weren’t bad,
back in forty-eight;
I’m grateful for the years we had;
you always, my very best mate.

Life did come, in peace you rest.
Three friends will miss you around;
I, the one who loved you best,
your horse, and a faithful hound.

Did you supply tissues with this one Harry? 🙁  Good use of the prompts for this sad tale.

Yeah Maureen, very sad... After hearing his story a few days back, I began to see things through his eyes.
Thanks for commenting, Maureen.

Cheers.
